I thought I would share this cute bit of Valentines decor I did in our home this week. I got these gorgeous little crochet hearts from this etsy store here. They were only $6.00 for 5 hearts and they are just super cute and such great quality I am so pleased. I love adding bits and pieces like this into our home each year. They arrived on a really hard and long day as well which was great as they made me smile, it’s the small things in life.
I thought I would share a full photo of this wall as this has been a great little addition to our open plan living/family area. This little shelf (from Ikea) is fantastic for storing wipes, plastic bibs, flannels, spare dummies etc. It keeps everything within easy reach of the dining room table but also up away from little fingers and stored neatly. This little shelf has been a fabulous addition to keeping our living area neat and clutter free : )

I truly understand that the little things do help cheer us up sometimes. My husband has been away on business for two weeks and I’m here alone with my two boys (my family is overseas). Its a hard job motherhood but the best one in the world of course. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Jade, is this shelf a recent purchase from Ikea. We need something like this for Juliet’s room, but can’t find one.
Sure is Lisa : ) I bought it only a few months ago but I saw them there last week. They are in the kitchen section (weird I know).
