I wanted to share the last of my projects with you today- the thank you notes and also Flynn’s 3rd Birthday invites. With so many birthdays all within a few weeks this is a really busy time of the year for us : )

So here are the thank you notes I have made which will also be sent out this week. This is a 6×4 card I have cut down and I then scalloped the bottom edge. Along the bottom I added a patterned piece of paper to the bottom of the card and then a typed message along the top of the card which I left as a generic thank you to make it a bit easier on myself.

I then also added 2 little passport photos for the thank you notes. In the end I am really pleased with how they turned out and they were quite quick and easy to complete all 40.

Simon was great looking after the little boy Flynn whilst I was busy with this project over the weekend.

And for Flynn’s Birthday as it is in a couple of weeks and with a new baby in the house we are trying to keep in pretty low key with just close family and friends. We are doing a construction themed afternoon tea, so look out for lots of details over the next 2 weeks as I try to make time to party plan in between life.
For the invitations after hand making 80 announcements/thank you cards for Oliver I wanted to keep these ones pretty simple and easy.I had them custom made over on Etsy which makes the process very quick, I printed the invites off at Big W and all I had to do was trim them down. I then found these gorgeous little yellow envelopes at a office supply store and I just added a scalloped tag to the front- simple and easy.

Wow they both look wonderful!
They look fantastic Jade, I wish I was as talented, thanks for the inspiration
Jade both projects look fantastic!
I love the photo of Flynn and Simon… like father, like son… so cute:-)
The thankyou cards look great! The swiss dot bazzill (well, it looks like it anyways!) looks great, just enough texture to add interest without dragging the eye away from the gorgeous photos.
