Well if it helps them to eat them we will do anything right? So these teddy bear sausage rolls were a hit and I thought I would share the recipe.
Ingredients-
250g sausage mince
250g beef mince
1 small onion finely chopped
1 small carrot grated
1 small zucchini grated
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 tbs tomato paste
1 tbs barbeque sauce
2 eggs beaten
3 sheets puff pastry
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl (only one egg)
Cut each sheet of puff pastry in half.
Roll mixture into 6 long sausage shapes.
Place onto pastry and roll tightly to seal.
Cut into smaller pieces (about3-4)
Brush with remaining egg and bake for 20-25 minutes in a moderate oven.
If you wants to add pastry shapes just cut them out and add them onto the top brushing on a bit of egg.

Will have to give these a go, the shapes on them is a great idea! Thanks Jade
