So I haven’t posted a recipe in a little while, I have been baking but just my old tried and true recipes – sticking to what I know as it is easy. Last week though we were having some friends over on a Sunday afternoon, then they called to say they were coming early- like 3 hours early and I had literally just stepped into the kitchen to bake afternoon tea, oh and I was out of butter !!
So a quick flick through a few recipe books to find something that did not require butter- not as easy as it sounds and I came across this little slice recipe. It was so easy and turned out super yummy and so I thought I would share it with everyone. It is just perfect for a throw together snack for guests.

Ingredients-
1 1/2 cups cornflakes
1 1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup rice bubbles
1/2 cup shredded coconut
400g can condensed milk
Combine in a large bowl and press firmly into a slice tray. Bake for about 4o minutes or until golden brown. Slice into squares and enjoy.
See told you it was easy : )
