Project Life- last week

I am going to follow in the lead of Jessica Turner and post a lot of my Project Life photos on the blog once a week. This will help me to make sure I take them and also to give some inspiration for your photo’s as well (hopefully) !! She Jessica’s post here from last week. Here are a few of my photos from last week. I know a lot of you are waiting on your kits, like me but you can most definitely still make a start by taking your photos !!

Trying out a new recipe over the weekend-

Flynn  having some fun with bath crayons !!

A family dinner, I was really tired last week. With the blog being moved over I had a lot of work to do to get over 200 posts edited and categorized and to upload and resize a lot of the photo’s that didn’t transfer over. This meant for a few late nights and dinner was on the bottom of the priority list- this was the best I could do !!

Flynn had his very first big boy swimming lesson : ) He coped for about the first 5 minutes until he realized I wasn’t coming in with him and then he got quite upset, I know he will adjust in a few weeks though.

Hi Jade. I love your blog! I have a few questions and would love to know if you could share. How do you organise Flynn’s arts and craft supplies? Do you have a cupboard or box for them? Also how do you file away keepsakes and what do you keep and throw away. I am finding it hard to draw a line. I want to keep everything my daughter ever touched almost lol. So would love some advice. Thanks so much Jade keep up the great work. Annie xxx

I know this is an old post but I found it whilst going through the blog and i hope you dont mind me answering.

I too wanted to keep everything my son touched! But living in a small terrace with little storage meant I had to come up with some interesting ideas…
When it came to his clothes I've kept his baby/toddler clothes and intend on making an heirloom blanket with a square from each piece – first Christmas tshirt, favourite pants etc.

With his toys, I couldnt bear to part with them – let alone sell them at a garage sale. So I kept the special ones, laid the rest out on a blanket and took a photo. This allows me to have a 'copy' of the toy without having them all physically taking up room!
