Inspired by the Becky Higgins post here I thought a lot yesterday about what I was feeling. Truth be told I had a not such great start to the day, my feelings were hurt, the day was long, I missed Kindy gym with Flynn due to an unexpected work commitment and the list went on.
It got to 5pm and I was seriously ready to throw in the towel and call the day done, when from no where I had a burst of energy reminiscent of the old pre pregnant me. I hosed and watered and swept and vacuumed and mopped and tidied and sprayed and wiped and wow did it feel great : ) I have been out of action for months with my dear husband Simon taking over 90% of all major household duties, but now finally at 25 weeks I have that burst of energy I have been waiting for (man it took long enough!!). I am so glad to be “back”. Back to writing lists and laminating potty charts and writing up a weekend project lists/planners, chores charts, measuring furniture, getting paint samples ahem slow down, I know but the old me is back !! I am so looking forward to starting to share this journey with you now that I am feeling better.
And so for my photo of the day I captured just a part of my little household spring clean some lovely washed floors : )

I wasn’t so sure when I read Becky’s post if I was going to do this challenge as I wasn’t sure how I was going to capture how I was feeling. But as it turned out I am glad I did this little Project Life challenge and it was an extra inspiration to capture something different : ) And so how I was feeling yesterday? Motivated.

Yay Jade glad you’re feeling back to your normal self! I’m trying to muster some motivation this morning as somehow after tiding up yesterday the house is a bomb site again today
your clean floors have inspired me (plus my MIL is coming over to stay tonight too! which always helps)
May the rest of your pregnancy be smooth sailing & full of lots of motivation!!!
Thanks Rosie : ) It is soooo hard sometimes and I have really done anything for months !! Don’t be too hard on yourself, you have 2 little ones I am sure your MIL doesn’t mind a dirty floor. xx
Hi Jade – your floors look lovely. I actually just finished mopping mine while my little one was sleeping. What do you use to clean yours?
