The nappy change area. You will surely spend a LOT of time here over the few years you have your child let alone the future children to come. It is an important area to get right and change if it isn’t working to make sure you make all of those thousand of nappies you will change over the years easier to manage !!
So the system I have found that works is to have the change table on the side as I was getting kicked a lot in the stomach !! Having everything within an arms reach is also essential, so I have all of my extra toiletries under the change table and the stuff I use a lot on the 2 shelves next to the changer. The mobile above the change mat has also been a godsend for when Flynn was little and really didn’t want to lay still for a few minutes, he loves watching the stars go around and around !!
Jade, lovely nursery – everything in its place! is Flynn staying in this room, or is bubba having it, and Flynn is moving? The colour scheme is the same as what we have for DS – brown and blue, but we’ve also added some touches of orange which really brighten it up!

Hi Karen, the room is painted two tone and then the wallpaper border just goes through the middle of the room : )
Thanks Jade – can you tell me the brand / colour name of the paint? I painted my living areas in a similar colour not long back but I was never really completely happy with it – this colour looks more like what I was originally after. Thanks so much. Really enjoying your blog – I have organisation envy (I loved your fridge, your pantry and craft room!!)
Thanks Karen : ) We love it too !! Our whole house is painted in it. It is called Dusted Fields made my Taubmans Living Proof Silk ? I think but I will double check for you. The top is just a slightly watered/ whitened version of the same colour
