I am not sure about you but I still find leaving my little babies hard even after 3 years and amazing loving Grandparents. I am starting to use this little notepad from Kikki to record stuff people need to know who are looking after our little ones.

I especially like to be able to have space for- where we are going and when we will be back, medications and instructions. In the instructions section I am going to be popping the last feed, change, meal etc for both boys as I find when you are leaving it is sometimes hard to remember to relay information as you are so distracted.

I have recently started leaving my little cherub Oliver for the odd hour or so to go and get bits and pieces done and although I only ever leave him with people closest to me and that I truly trust I still worry as we all do. If I think Oliver might need a feed whilst I am gone there is all the prep the day/night before to make sure I have enough milk expressed etc, it is a lot of work but ever so nice to have a little break for a few hours here and there.
I think about nothing much else and miss him like crazy when we are apart but that time makes it ever so much more precious when you get back to this special smile.
