I LOVE this idea. I saw this Errands Zone on the Creative Organising blog ages ago and it has been on my to do list for our home ever since. Although we have “junk” drawer in our computer nook in the kitchen it just doesn’t cut it for the note books and paperwork I need to have access to. This systems fits the bill perfectly for me and so I plan to do the same in our home next week in my kitchen nook.
The idea behind the “mini zone” is to create Compact area in your home to complete certain tasks. I am all about this and love to create little caddy’s/ zone to do things and keep everything together.
On the Create Organising blog and in the photo below Aby has in her “mini zone” Recipes, clipboard for shopping, coupons and vouchers and a shopping list.

This is where I am at so far-

I have our weekly planner clipboard that we update every week on a Sunday- this usually lives out on the bench during the day so we can see what everyone is up to. I have out family weekly schedule printed out, my takeaway folder from Kikki-k, Olivers feeding journal, Flynn’s communication book and the funny things Flynn says note book.
I still have to get a little note book, a pen holder, and some cute folders to hold school newsletters, bills etc. I will post some finished pictures next week when I am complete but so far I am loving having everything together in the one place to access during the day.

Jade, I love the enamel tin that you are using to store your errands zone. Where did you find it ?
