Things I love about Albany Post #1

As you already know I went away on a little work trip this week. I wanted to get this trip done before I got too pregnant as it is about 7-8 hours in the car (with lunch stops etc)  and also I really do love it down here in Albany. Between appointments with customers I managed to fit in some sightseeing and capture some of this great town. One of the things I love most about this town is the fabulous wind farm – they generate a lot of the towns electricity from these awesome machines and they really are beautiful to see in real life.

Love this little quote-

The sky is SO blue down here : )

More photos  to come soon, I hope you are having a great Saturday.

Love your pics and blog jade, and I’ll have to take a leaf out of your book and fit some sightseeing into my trips. I always get home feeling like my head is spinning!

Love your pics Jade, isn’t Albany just gorgeous, I love the wind farm, those things are huge when you are next to them! We are yet to do a trip to show the kids, but I would love to take my son to Whale World. Good idea on travelling while you still can xx

Love the pics Jade! My parents are on their way to Albany as we speak, they are riding their motorbikes from Canberra… I’m happy to see that they will be rewarded after such a long ride, with such a beautiful place!

My hubby and i spent a considerable amount of time in Albany 6 years ago on a trip around oz. We worked at the Bandicoot nursery in nearby Mt Barker. Albany is a truly beautiful town and we have great memories of our visit there………
