So I am sure a lot of you can relate to becoming a clumsy, forgetful, blubbering pregnant woman during those 9 long months. I know I go from having a great memory to putting the Vegemite away in the fridge and the milk in the pantry so I thought I would do a post about the recent silly things I have done since falling pregnant- just for a laugh : )

1. As per above putting food items away in random and incorrect spots, and then not being able to remember where I put them.
2. Loosing my car keys, what is with that? I always put them in the exact same place when I walk in the door and never really loose my keys. Except when I am pregnant, then I loose them all of the time !!! Extremely frustrating especially when you are running out the door.
3. Not feeling focused. Christmas shopping was a nightmare for me this year. I quickly learned that I need a list or I was hopeless after I drove to the shops to do Christmas shopping walked around aimlessly for about an hour and ended up buying a bread roll from Coles and then going home !! A tad embarrassing LOL.
4. Walking in to see a customer (for work) and leaving everything I need in the car and promptly having to go back out the car to get all of things I came to give them, or worse getting in there and completely forgetting what I came for !!
5. Forgetting what people ask me, forgetting things I have to do, forgetting things to take to the seamstress, forgetting Flynn’s daycare forms for weeks on end and just quite simply forgetting everything !!
6. Second baby syndrome- forgetting how many weeks pregnant I am when someone asks me- oops !!
7. Not being able to remember what happened last week.
8. Buying a large coffee and then promptly spilling it all over myself, the store, my handbag etc whilst trying to get the takeaway lid on.
9. Forgetting to respond to blog emails- sorry if you have emailed me !! I do read them all but mostly forget to respond, mental note, will do that tonight : ).
Well this is all I can think of at the moment, but I am sure most of you can relate to some/all of these. Feel free to share any funny, silly pregnancy moments you might have in the comments today.
Luckily all of this and everything else pregnancy likes to throw at us like heartburn, backache and endless sickness it is well and truly worth the journey for that gorgeous bundle of love at the end. And to the kind ladies who have asked if I am still sick, thank you for caring and yes at 21 weeks I am still sick. I am starting to have more good days which is great and I am still optimistic that it will end soon, looking forward to feeling healthy again : )

OMG jade i know exactly what you mean , however even 13 months later i am as bad as ever if not worse :S
I hope it goes soon LOL
Jade, my pregnant Doctor friend put me on to this research. Now t has been proven – pregnancy really does affect the brain. http://www.science.unsw.edu.au/news/pregnancy-hits-your-memory/ At least we have a good, reliable excuse!!
Sadly that’s what I’m like when not pregnant =(
So true – I call it mumnesia! It does’t end at the delivery suite either unfortunately!
I did this when pregnant with my youngest once. I had forgotten that my oldest was with his grandparents for the day. And i was frantic that i had lost him him or misplaced him somewhere. Its funny now i look back on it
