“[Home] is the center from which we define and understand the nature of everything we encounter in the world.
The home . . . is not one thing among many in a world of things; nor is it merely the product of a culture. Rather, the world of things derives its sense, and a culture its significance, from their relationship to the home. Without the home, everything else in the world or in a culture is meaningless.”

Jade can i ask where your sofas are from ?
they are just what i have been after… thanks
Thanks Shar : ) The Sofas are from Freedom !!
Oh how I wish our lounge room looked like yours does!
Hi Jade, been wondering for ages who your builder was. Your lounge room is nearly identical to ours as are the rooms down the hall.
Was it Ultimate Homes?
It was a custom design (I drew up our plans) but the builder was Metro style.
Thanks. Can’t believe the similarities. This is our plan http://www.ultimatehomes.com.au/_content/repository/EADAAA12-3769-4C76-AF0F-AE674CE3CDE1.pdf
We even have the same kitchen cupboards and door knobs on them.
Wow that is so similar !!! If you flip the ensuite and the master bedroom and then move across the kitchen to the very right that is what our back is like !! Oh and we have our guest room with ensuite and laundry in front of the home theatre
We added a study in front of the home theater and an extra garage.
One of the reasons I love your blog. Our home is still having finishes, floors, window coverings, etc so it’s nice to see a finished home the same to keep me motivated.
It will be worth it in the end !! We did a study as well on the right hand side opposite the Home theatre : ) Ours took forever to build but once it was finished we were in love and it was worth all of the heartache
Hi Jade, I really love the feature wall. Do you know what colour it is? I love the way you have decorated your home!
Thanks Vanessa, I will check with my husband !! x
Have you noticed the paint in your house matches the wallpaper on your blog!!
Now that really is organised!!
