Telling someone what you love most about them is a heart warming thing to do. It is bound to make their day and hopefully they will remember it for a long time to come. I am going to to share with you today a little project Flynn and I did for Daddy while he was at work. We did this for Valentine’s Day but really you can do this craft activity any time.
Firstly you need a kitchen sponge, paint, white card, a pen, scissors and some Blu-tack. Thats it- pretty basic. Cut your kitchen sponge to whatever shape you like, circles, stars we used hearts but really you can do anything.
May you love cherish and appreciate the ones you love today : )

Wanting to make some super easy simple and cheap treat bags for the kids ? Well this is a post just for you. We did this as one of our activities this week, it all centered around counting and the finished product was a great bonus.
First we bought these cute candies from Toys R Us.
Long time readers know the front table always gets a little make over come every holiday. This pink creation is one of my favourites, I just feel the love every time I walk in the door. So for your viewing pleasure -

*This is the second post of the day, check back on the main page for an earlier post : )
Did you see the FREE download in yesterdays post? If not click on the link HERE and download your own free Valentine’s pack filled with lots of goodies, the sheet to make a heart handprint, a love letter, love list and a sweet A4 print you can frame, print out, use in your PL whatever you like, from Bianca from a Little Delightful and myself to you for your special day : )
And here is how I used the print from the pack-
Well you all know why it just “has” to be pink : )

So I will just go ahead and share the recipe we use and this super simple activity can keep the little one entertained for ages! If you have never made play dough give it a try it is super easy and so wonderful to play with.
Flynn LOVES receiving small notes every morning in his little love bug so I thought I would share with you this sweet tradition we do each day in February. This little “Love Bug” is just from Woolworths an is made by Hallmark. This cute little bug has a little zip on one side to add your own little treat, notes etc whatever you like.

I am going to share with you today some more crafty love and also some winners of our recent competitions, yay for that.
Firstly some crafty Valentine’s creations made by some fabulous readers-
So if you have been reading for a little while you would already know about my slight obsession with the colour pink, maybe it is having two boys I am not sure but I LOVE it. Hence loving Valentine’s Day- maybe just a little bit too much!!
So this year we decorated just a little bit more than usual just to feel the love in our home.
Even the food gets a hint of pink around here this time of year. Embracing the pink in a house full of boys? You bet, why not : ) Flynn just eats this stuff up (literally) and making food fun and themed to this most lovely time of years make me a proud mummy when he eats it all too.
