I wanted to share with you today the Thank you cards we did for Oliver’s Christening. After all of the work and massive amounts of party planning that went into the day I wanted something super duper easy. I enlisted the help of a girlfriend who knew Photoshop way better than I did to help me- thanks so much Melissa.
Inspired by this birth announcement Becky Higgins had on her website-
Have you got anything due to arrive in your letter box ? I am absolutely hanging out for this little beauty of a camera strap to arrive : ) It is from the Etsy shop Eclectic Whatnot and if you ask her super nicely like I did she will ship to Australia for you.
So I have spoken about the wonderful and talented Ninka from Little Tree Photography before who took Oliver’s newborn shots. I was so thrilled with the result and it was so hard to choose my prints. But I finally made my choices and when I received them a few weeks ago and they were straight up on the wall : )

There is a lot of this going on at the moment, here are a few of my recent POTD (Picture of the day)

This little guy is getting to that clingy stage- the you cannot put me down stage. And if you do I am going to scream….especially if I cannot see my mummy. And yes I know I am the meanest mother in the world taking a photo of my baby crying but you know what, it is real life. That is part of our day sometimes and part of project life for is about captures the real life, the everyday stuff both the good and the bad.
I LOVE having a newborn in the house. They really are so much fun, they are so happy for you to be walking around and just cradling them in your arms. The cooing, talking and the smiling back is pure and absolute joy. I can simply get lost in the hours of loving this little boy : ) Every single fat roll…..

This is your mother speaking please never stop being so gorgeous.

I am one of those people who absolutely love newborn babies. I love everything about them, the cuddles, endless photo opportunities, the late night feeds, their utter dependence on you. I just love all of it. But the cruelty of it all is that it goes way too fast. I already feel like in the blink of any eye that newborn stage is slipping away from me already.
Seriously melt worthy : )
On another note there is something wrong with the comments system at the moment and posts will show as having no comments or maybe one- you have to actually click on the post title to see all of the comments but the front page will still be showing as zero comments.
I always struggled to get Flynn to smile for the camera. Right from the very start he just did not want to have it !! I am so enjoying the abundance of smiles that this little love bug is happy to dish out on a regular occasion and even better if I am able to catch them on camera.

I am so looking forward to starting little Olivers scrapbook which is happening this weekend- that pile of 300 photos has grown by another few hundred and so I need to start : )
I have in the past done a few posts on photo organisation but now that we have 2 little boys to take millions of photos of I have had to come up with a new system to keep organised. As I scrapbook most of our photos this Creative Memories Power sort box hold mostly old photos from our childhoood and travels pre children. Although I have scrapbooked both our childhoods and travels we still have a lot left over. The current photos it holds will mostly be scrapbooked and so I will just go through every 6 months or so and updated the labelled tabs as they become empty.
So this is the Creative Memories power sort box I am using-
