Here is a little idea for next year for a sweet neighbour treat. It is nice to include and involve your street in activities like this as it is a great way to get the spirit of any holiday happening with local people you know.

Flynn decided that as we were potato stamping last weekend that he wanted to do some fun bags for his friends so here is a look at what we made.
The bags we used were orange paper lolly bags from Spotlight, they are just a few dollars and come in a pack of 12. I carved out the pumpkin myself into a potato and we used white paint to stamp the bags, Flynn had a great time he loves potato stamping
For today I just wanted to show you a few other small bits and pieces we did around the house this past few weeks for Halloween.
Just to make our home Trick or Treat friendly we had a cute little witch on the front door, again from the Avon catalogue.
We decided to do a little decorating on our front table for Halloween this year and it was super fun : ) I am going to start to do this for each special holiday – Valentines, Halloween and Christmas. I have already started to think about the next one, they are lots of fun to put together.
This is a look at the overall table.
Better late than never, you can re visit this for all of your ideas next year : ) Remember you can always click on the tabs on the right hand side eg Halloween or Christmas for ideas whenever you like.
I didn’t post anything we did for Halloween this year and there was a very well thought out reason for that. Halloween seems to be one of those holidays whereby a lot of people have a lot of resentment for it being “American”. If you look into this age old tradition a little you will find it is actually not the case- but that is for you to do your own research. My husband grew up in the Middle East where this fun day was huge and so this was a tradition that was important for him to continue with our own children.
Whether you celebrate/ endorse or participate in Halloween or not how can you resist these cutest little pumpkins : )
