We love, love, love Easter around here and so starts the crafts and baking and decorating surrounding this holiday : ) It is super fun for us as it make it really easy to think of crafts and fun things to do.
I saw this easter idea on a blog somewhere, I think it was actually on a party table. But with no instructions on how/ what they actually did to get this cute look I set about to figure it out.
Wow well we got way too much chocolate for easter what about you? I thought I would share a little idea/recipe with you that I do each year to use up the “extras” we always seem to have at the end of the season, or we are just over eating chocolate.

I saw this idea on the Family Fun website and altered it a little to use what I had in my own pantry. They are little egg homemade apple pies- yum!!
Ingredients-
I hope everyone has a fantastic day with family and friends. Eat way too much chocolate and have too much fun with your kids, enjoy the magic of make believe for today.

I am spending the day shopping and baking ready for tomorrow, have a great weekend I hope yesterdays post gave you some last minute ideas for things you can do to make Easter a little bit special this year.
Speaking of easter, check out our hatching egg, so cute : )
I thought I would share a few ideas for a non chocolate easter, and also some decorating ideas for some of you who are still looking for some inspiration for Sunday
This is a great little project for in front of the TV at night. I bought a bag of small wrapped candy and then printed out some Happy Easter Tabs from my Etsy download found here. I added some double sided tape to half of the tab and then wrapped in half the candy. I am going to be adding these into the take home gift bags for our BBQ on Sunday.
Please click on the above articles link to see April’s Article on the site which is all about Organising your car space- I hope you find it helpful : ) **Edited to add** The article is coming, just a bit of a technical glitch this morning.

We did some simple Easter cookies over the weekend for Flynn to be able to give out to his teachers. I also made some for my work colleagues in the office and a few friends. We just used a simple chocolate cookie recipe base and cut the mixture out into little eggs.
We then topped the eggs with pre made Betty Crocker vanilla icing and then dipped them in sprinkles. They were simple and easy and I was then able to package them up into some little easter bags from Woolworths.
It is worthwhile to think outside the box a little when it comes to holidays like easter. There are lots of bits and pieces that you can buy and I have shared a lot of these with you over the last few weeks. But there are also lots of great things that you can do that are free and using things you will likely already have at home.
Firstly find a cute download for cupcake toppers here. I printed 3 sheets of these for muffins and cupcakes.
