So you always get a pop in visitor, an aunty, friend etc that you realize you didn’t buy for but would love to give them something small. This year so I don’t get caught out I am doing up about 6 chocolate/ lolly jars for just this occasion.
I picked up these great jars at our local discount/ $2 shop and they have a seal to keep any food/ lollies fresh.
Two posts in one day, yes thats right : ) As you might have read on my Facebook page I have a LOT of photos, idea, crafts and decorating to share with you guys. So much so there is no way I am going to get through it all in the next what 6 days (wow that is close). So keep checking back each day as you may very well have some extra posts throughout the day as I get time : )
Today I would like to share with you another great free printable from Bianca’s blog- A Little Delightful- don’t we just love Bianca? I was thrilled to hear that so many of you requested the free Santa letter download- that is what blogging is all about sharing the love : ) See Bianca’s post HERE to see what she did with this great Christmas printable- some sweet Kindy gifts.
So we have had a sick little boy here with gastro for the last 5 days (fun? NOT) so he has not really been interested in doing any of our activities which is fair enough but yesterday Flynn had a little bit of energy and he decided that he wanted to do the days activity which was Christmas crafts.
This little button wreath is totally NOT my idea. I saw it on a website somewhere ages ago and knew it would be the perfect easy craft for us to do together and it was : ) Flynn loved it and even wanted to make another one= success.
We always decorate our front table for the holidays- as you might have noticed and Christmas is no exception. Now that our table is as finished as it is going to be for this holidays I thought I would share it with you.
Excuse my track suit pant wearing self in the reflection- damn that mirror.
This was our very first 12 days of Christmas activity and we had a great time writing our letter to Santa. If you would like to do this you need to have them posted by the 17th December to receive a reply from Santa.
This is our cute little letter set this year-
Here are a few of the smaller things making up Christmas in our home on a daily basis.
The little boys decorations arrived and are beyond cute. Part of our family tradition is that boys get a decoration, Christmas book and new set of pyjamas which they open on Christmas eve.
I so look forward to this moment.
I am thrilled to announce the winner of the stash of Love from Lovely Little Parties is…
Congratulations on your win Christina I hope you are able to make some lovely goodies for your family and friends. Christina just contact me using the Contact tab on the right hand side and I will get your details to Virginia.
Ok so wrapping is my “thing”. Well one of many. But I love wrapping gifts, finding cute wrap, tags and ribbon. This is something I usually do late at night in front of the TV (when I am meant to be winding down LOL).
This year I went for a cute kraft paper with red dots.
This year I have decided to do a modified version of the 12 days of Christmas in our home as a fun lead up to the big day. The tradition version start on Christmas day and you can find a lot on the internet about the traditional 12 days of Christmas but this is our own little version.

This year I decided to do a few things with our family room table to Christmas it up a little : ) Firstly I decided to do a lantern display hung above the table. Much to my husbands dismay as he grumbles about the 300 holes in the roof from my pins LOL. But it looks so pretty !!
This is the table looking front on, we decided to add a splash of blue this year just for something a little different.
