Thank you so much to everyone for their sweet messages on Facebook for this little boys birthday a few weeks ago. Sadly he was sick and in hospital with a chest infection that week which was no fun, the party has been postponed and we had a VERY simple cupcake and singing at home. I will be sure to share the details once we have had take #2 of his big day.
All that is important is our health and so even though it was sad to postpone his sweet party he is now healthy and back to his inquisitive self which is all that matters.

A quick bath time organising tip for you today.
Do you ever bath or shower your children away from the “normal” place? We often shower the boys in our bathroom as an option if we all need to jump in. I just wanted to share with you a little organising tip I have grown to love over the years to make this a little easier.
Before the even run the shower I head on through Flynn’s bedroom, the nursery etc to et all the necessary bits and pieces we will need for out shower time pyjamas, outfits, nappies, lotion, towels, moisturiser etc. They I lay it all out on the bed ready to go for both boys.
10 Months ago, almost to the day even I was photographed doing this……
I was 9 months pregnant, very very tired running a home, still working and looking after my beautiful family. I was TIRED. Very very tired.
So as per my post yesterday I am still running through a few organisation tips regarding being a working mother. It really involves just that next level of organisation as you are out for a portion of the day.
Feeding whilst you are working creates a whole new challenge- especially with a small baby as they often don’t feed to an exact schedule. Getting a store together is the freezer in the key for me to staying on top of feeding and supply. I use an electric pump whilst I am away for a feed and also I pump an extra feed every night which is about 120mls. With this extra feed I am currently freezing this for a trip I have to take next month. The rest I am donating to our local milk back starting next week- just a small way to give back.
So with 2 babies it is busy, thats is just a fact. But I still try to find happiness and joy amidst the chaos and mess everyday.
Lets take Sunday for example. We were at Bunnings- all four of us, just collecting the usual some plants and fertilizer etc. Then all of a sudden I smell something….
So the lovely people at Smart Trike sent me this little gem to review just before Oliver was born. They have been so patient which I really appreciate and we put it together a few weeks ago and Flynn has been riding it around the house ever since : )
You can use the Smart Trike from 6 months through to 3 years which is fantastic. In baby mode you have a bar which goes around the seat section and also a foot rest so their little feet can sit just about the wheels whilst they are to little to pedal- such a great idea.
