We have been super busy around home the last few weeks with lots of different things to plan and on the go. With Flynn having both Kindy and daycare now there is not a lot of free time to do extra crafts etc but Flynn is bringing home SO much stuff from Kindy it is insane trying to keep up with it all- more on storing kids crafts from schools soon : )
And some photos that show it is getting warmer around here and we are loving it : )
So with spring on it’s way I thought I would re post this ice cream sandwich recipe. I had it up on the blog nearly 12 months ago but with all of our wonderful new readers I thought this was one worth revisiting.
Ice cream sandwiches are simple and easy to make and once I got this recipe from a girlfriend years ago I have been making them regularly ever since.
Is a mess.
No really it is. Pre baby, pregnancy, post baby, breastfeeding and returning to work- I am sure most of you have been there and it is not pretty. Trying to sort through it all is a massive undertaking and it is certainly hard putting away of the things that don’t fit whilst you are nursing. But this weekend I will tackle it : )

Wait until they are ready.
That is all : )
We have been talking about and asking Flynn if he wanted to go to the potty for the last 12 months. Apart from the occasional sitting on the potty with the occasional filling it the usual response when asked was- no thank you.

I have always been a little cautious in the past about the concept of taking a toddler to a museum of any kind. Other than a specific children’s museum the idea of this petrifies me as I have visions of Flynn knocking over some priceless artifact etc.
But we have been to a few this winter and I have been very surprised-
It is starting early in this house ; )

Although I know in the years to come these two will fight over everything. I will have to break up endless squabbles about who stole who’s car etc. But for now, we teach sharing.
Hard job right? Sometimes but most of the time it is wonderfully rewarding, heart fulfilling and emotion overwhelming.
Has a stranger ever come up to you in public to comment on your parenting?
I used to hate washing. Like really, really hate washing- then one day early on in my days as a mother of two I grew to love washing.
Yes that right I said I have grown to love washing.
Not quite sure what happened with the blog over the weekend, the server seemed to go down for awhile but we are back to regular posting now : ) I missed you guys !!
Our weekend was busy. We did a few things around the house and there was LOTS of organising for Oliver’s upcoming Christening, I am having so much fun planning it all- but it is also a lot of work, I will start to share bits and pieces as I put them together !!
