Well with a newborn in the house we are all trying to get lots of this where we can…..

Oliver gets up normally 2-3 times a night so he is a great little sleeper, but as we all know getting up with a newborn takes ages it is about an hour by the time you feed, burp, change, feed on the other side and burp again. I am slowly getting used to that lack of sleep again but it is taking time and coffee. I have NO time now and doing something for myself like computer time, scrapbooking etc usually involves a certain little koala attached to me ; ) not that I am complaining.

I know it wan’t always be like this. There will be times where they hate each other and fight and feel jealous etc but for now… they love each other and it has been the most wonderful thing to watch blossom over the last 10 days.
This post is a little all over the place but it is just a few things I wanted to share.
I am well and truly outnumbered at home at the moment by blue, cars and dump trucks but I am loving every minute of it. Seeing Flynn with his little brother makes me so proud every day he wants to help and loves him being involved in all activities it really is so sweet.

Yesterday we had our first real adventure out of the house with both little boys. We have wanted to go to the children’s science museum Scitech for ages and also on the train with Flynn into the city and so we decided to combine the two into a little family adventure whilst Simon was on leave.
Firstly we caught the train into the city which Flynn absolutely loved : ) He loves all things that move and this just captured his imagination to the max !! It was so wonderful to see him so excited.
Staring at this delicious bundle of love is such a great way to just while away the hours…

Happy 1 week birthday my darling second son Oliver, we cannot imagine our lives without you in it.
We are home, exactly where we should be and so enjoying settling in together and getting into a new “normal”. Whilst I have a quiet moment editing photos the boys are have a special movie screening of Aladdin in the Home Theatre room and Oliver is fast asleep in his crib next to me just full up on milk.
A few things struck me as so different about coming home from hospital the second time around that I wanted to share. Firstly the mum juggle starts straight away, there is no easing into it from the minute you leave you have to spread not only your heart but also your hands, time, energy and thought process wider than ever before. Flynn is being a great little helper (so far) which has made everything a LOT easier but already we see him trying to find his new place in our home and wanting both mummy and daddy attention a lot more than ever before.
After 4 days in hospital we are all ready for mummy to come home, especially me : ) Our gorgeous little bundle of love has been cleared, passed his hearing test, had all necessary other tests and needles etc and put back on the correct amount of weight all of which means we have been cleared to go home !!
We have been busy resting (when possible), having visitors, lots of feeding and just hanging out together bonding. I have so enjoyed my time with just my littlest boy and focusing on just us and getting that all important feeding established before we leave, and although I am very sore this little guy is feeding like a champion now.
I wanted to share with you a few of my favourite moments over the last few days. As I sit here late at night on my hospital bed with sweet baby Oliver sleeping and breathing deeply next to me wrapped up like a little burrito I feel so incredibly blessed. And as I use this blog like a diary I wanted to share some of my most memorable moments of the last few days of my life.

Oliver Harrison born beautifully at 6:10pm on 20th May 2010. Weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces and 50cm long.
