Homemade pizza night (yes I don’t eat cheese, weird I know!!) -
A new favourite snack, lollies !! (chopped apricots ssshhhh)
No Mummy I absolutely will not take my dummy out for a photo : ) –
More than any other household/mum/ work job I absolutely hate doing laundry. I am not sure exactly what it is about laundry that I detest, maybe it is everything!!! I have a system, and the system works (if I follow it) but that has not made it any easier.
Remember my post only a few days ago about the fact that spring is coming ? Well when we were driving home the other day from swimming I saw the most beautiful field of flowers and so we pulled the car over and got out so I could snap a few pictures, so pretty. Just another reminder that the seasons are quickly changing.
We are so excited as this awesome new outdoor water park is about to open within walking distance of our house!! They have been building it for over a year now and is due to open Summer 2009, it will be the largest outdoor water playground in the state and even better it will be free. I can see us spending a lot of time splashing around down here this summer.
This was the first time I had used this recipe and I was really impressed with how easy and yummy these were! I had a few apples I needed to use before they turned and this is what I made-
Ingredients
2 cups self-raising flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1tp cinnamon
160ml milk
4 tb canola oil
2 eggs whisked
2 ripe apples peeled and grated
I love it when all of the garden starts to let you know that spring is almost here!! It makes the winter days seem warmer as spring is suddenly in the air.
Every Autumn right behind my house they plant Everlasting daisy seedlings which sprout in the Spring this is what they look they at the moment, but any day now they will all burst open and be the most beautiful sea of pink. I just want a little newborn to be able to lay in the middle of all of the flowers and photograph ! Anyone want to lend me one : )
I saw a great layout a few years ago in a magazine entitled “Places we go”. It was an fabulous idea about documenting the regular places you go such as your local park, shopping centre, where you eat out, swim etc.
Winter and toddlers don’t really mix very well do they? The kids love to get out and about and burn of some much pent up energy but it is so cold and rainy outside that is really restricts what you can do on the weekends. We have sadly had to postpone our trip to the Tulip park as the weather would no oblige this weekend at all.
